Chief Financial Officer
Tim is Chief Financial Officer in the Hunt Valley headquarters of Asset Strategy Consultants, responsible for finance strategy, cash management, budget and forecasting, financial reporting, human resources and IT oversight.
Tim is a CPA with over 40 years of professional finance experience, principally in financial services industries. More recently, Tim was a Managing Director and Chief Accounting Officer of Legg Mason, Inc., one of the larger global asset management firms, serving institutional and individual clients. Prior to almost fifteen years with Legg Mason, Tim served as Internal Audit Director of Freddie Mac and has also worked for several international public accounting firms. Tim has also served in leadership roles with privately held businesses and has significant experience with valuations, M&A transactions, complex financial accounting and reporting matters.
Tim has been a member of various trade and professional organizations and currently is a trustee of Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust, a member of its Executive and Finance Committees, and chairs its Ad Hoc Audit Committee. Tim is a graduate of Loyola University, Maryland, with a BA in Accounting and currently serves on its Accounting Advisory Board.
