Robert G. Merrick, III

Bobby is a Principal in the Hunt Valley headquarters of Asset Strategy Consultants.
His primary role focuses on client development – working with non-profit organizations.

Previously, Bobby held senior positions at Kidder Peabody, JP Morgan, and Coe Capital Management. In 2005, he was appointed as the independent board chair of the Campbell Multi Strategy Trust — a 40 act fund managed by Campbell & Company, a Baltimore-based fund manager.

In addition, he served as a member of the Cornerstone Capital Global Advisory Committee, a New York-based consulting firm advising corporations, investors and asset managers on Environmental, Social, and Governance investing (ESG).

Active in the community, Bobby has served on a number of boards and investment committees in the region. Currently, he serves on the boards of the Hippodrome Foundation, France-Merrick Foundation, Stevenson University President’s Advisory Committee, and UMBC Board of Visitors.

Bobby graduated with a BA in English Literature from St. Lawrence University.
