He is responsible for the analysis of quarterly reporting, performance attribution reports, investment manager searches and special analytical projects.

Prior to joining Asset Strategy Consultants, Burak spent over two years in the capacity of Credit Analyst with Gisad Foreign Trade Capital Co. in Istanbul, Turkey. There he developed a solid knowledge base in capital markets strategy and financial analysis, while becoming involved with numerous international and local client engagements. He analyzed financial statements and assessed the credit worthiness of client companies and performed research on the emerging market economies. During his second year, he also managed the fixed income portfolio totaling over $100 million.

Burak is a native of Turkey and graduated from the Bosphorus University in Istanbul with a Bachelors in Economics and became a member of the Economics and Econometrics Center of Bogazici University. He went on to graduate from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School with a Masters in Finance. He was also a Corporate Finance Teaching Assistant at Hopkins. He is a member of the CFA Society of Washington, DC. He has passed the level 3 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examination and will complete all his requirements for certification.
