Bill was a Senior Vice President, Principal, Shareholder and Consultant with Callan Associates, one of the oldest and largest consulting firms in the United States. His consulting activities included a wide range of services: asset allocation studies, asset/liability studies, manager searches and monitoring, portfolio and manager performance measurement, special projects, and working with boards, investment and finance committees, senior executives and staff at all levels. He was then a Principal and Consultant with Palmer & Cay. Prior to that, he was a Deputy Comptroller with the City of New York and was responsible for the management of its $20 billion Pension portfolio and the $2 billion internal City Treasury portfolio and worked with five Boards of Trustees. Bill was also responsible for two large corporate defined benefit pension plans (LTV and R.J. Reynolds).
Bill graduated from Bucknell University with a BA in Economics and received his MBA in Finance from Georgia State University.
